Frick Middle School is committed to helping its students acquire the academic skills and content knowledge, study skills, personal responsibility, and resilience necessary for success in high school and beyond.
Since 1999, no non-charter middle school in Alameda County has made greater gains in state test scores than Frick. Now we are prepared to make even greater gains, thanks to a $3-million, seven-year grant to reduce class sizes. Frick has the well-deserved reputation as one of the cleanest and most orderly schools in the city.
Our “kings” and “queens” (the students) are served by staff that work together to meet students’ educational, social, and emotional needs. Frick has a thriving program for Gifted and Talented students, is one of the schools who scored the highest in the physical fitness test statewide, has a full sports program, has a cheerleading squad that travels across the state for competitions, has an after school program that provides academic support and enrichment activities, and hosts an annual sports festival that has been featured on local television news shows. We are looking forward to welcoming you into the Frick Family.
